Program base: Nîmes, France (Ecole des Mines d'Alès)
Program cost: $3,280 (estimated -- includes lodging, group travel while on the program, some meals in France while on program, and university administrative and insurance fees; does not include -- tuition, travel to and from the program base, local meal plan, incidentals).
Courses: All students will take 4 credits of Art History and 4 credits of French language and culture while on the program. Each student will be placed in an appropriate French course depending on the student's level of proficiency (beginning, intermediate, or advanced). Please note: All students are strongly encouraged, but not absolutely required, to take at least one semester of college French before participating in the program. All students must take the introductory Art Appreciation course (ARH 2000) in advance, or obtain permission from the instructor.
Students will attend orientation sessions prior to departure. A contingency plan is available for examination.
