B.Sc., University of Belgrade, Serbia (1987); Ph.D., University of British Columbia, Canada (1993).

Research Interests: Synthetic organic chemistry, in particular in the development of new synthetic methodology and application of it to synthesis of molecules of biological interest. A part of my research is devoted to application of photochemistry to organic synthesis. An important objective of my research program is to train undergraduate students in conducting research and writing competent research reports and proposals.
