  • 2013 Florida Atlantic University's "Owl Friend of the Year Award" presented by the Division of Student Affairs at the 2013 FAU's Broward Achievement Awards Ceremony for the outstanding leadership and service contributions to the FAU Broward campus, the student community, and the division of Student Affairs.
     
  • 2010 Florida Atlantic University's "Owl Friend of the Year Award" presented by the Division of Student Affairs at the 2010 FAU's Broward Achievement Awards Ceremony for exemplary support to the division and the student community.
     
  • 2009 Florida Atlantic University's "Broward Campuses Vice-President Leadership Team Award" presented at the 2009 FAU's Broward Achievement Awards Ceremony for exemplary service and contributions to FAU's Broward community.
     
  • 2007 Honorable Mention from “The Newsletter on Newsletters” Annual Awards Competition in the Best Conference Promotion on Newsletter Marketing Excellence category for the Lynn Broadcast Projects.
     
  • 2007 Special Merit Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III Advancement Awards Program in the CD-ROM and Other Electronic Communications program category for the Lynn University Broadcast E-mail Projects.
     
  • 2006 Advisor of the Year Award. Presented by Lynn University to recognize exemplary service to the university while exhibiting a selfless commitment to its students; more specifically as advisor to the Organization of Latin-American Student (OLAS). The award is voted by both students and administrative members of the university’s Leadership Committee.
     
  • 2006 Grand Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III Advancement Awards Program in the Electronic Newsletter and Tabloids program category for Lynn University electronic newsletters (Employee Update, eLynn News, and MyLynn).
     
  • 2006 Silver Award at the 21st Annual Admissions Advertising Awards sponsored by the Admissions Marketing Report (AMR) in the Total Public Relations program category for Lynn University Hurricane Wilma Web site and electronic communications. More than 2,200 entries were sent for this award competition from over 1,000 national and international universities.
     
  • 2006 Merit Award at the 21st Annual Admissions Advertising Awards sponsored by the Admissions Marketing Report (AMR) in the Newsletter program category for Lynn University electronic newsletters. More than 2,200 entries were sent for this award competition from over 1,000 national and international universities.
     
  • 2005 Advisor Spotlight feature story in the “Toilet Paper” for outstanding advising work for a campus club or organization. The “Toilet Paper” is a publication published every two weeks by the Department of Student Activities at Lynn University.
     
  • 2005 Special Merit Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III Advancement Awards Program in the Electronic Newsletter and Tabloids program category for the Lynn University “eLynn News” and the “eWeekly Update” electronic newsletters.
     
  • 2003-2004 Student Organization Advisor of the Year Award. Presented by Barry University’s Division of Student Services in recognition for the work done with the Latin-American Student Association (LASA). Award is voted by the Student Organization Council, which represents over 70 campus organizations.
     
  • 2002-2003 AppLE (Appreciation for Leading Educators) Award. Presented by Barry University’s Center for Commuter Student Affairs in recognition of service to commuter students and attention to their unique needs. Award is voted by approximately 6,000 commuter students.
     
  • 2000-2001 Faculty Advisor of the Year Award. Presented by Barry University’s Division of Student Services in recognition for the work done with the Latin-American Student Association (LASA). This organization also received the 2002-2003 Rising Star Award presented by the Department of Student Activities in recognition of its commitment to excellence and leadership.
     
  • 1998-1999 Award for the Florida Learn and Serve Chapman House Tour Guide Program. Presented by the Black Archives, History, and Research Foundation of South Florida; and the Florida Commission on Community Service.
     
  • Team Member and Technology Advisor/Presentation Producer, Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE); Barry University Chapter. 1997 First Runner Up, 2000 Regional Champions, 2001 Regional Champions.
